Hi! I’m Ilyssa from Fuhsing. As a rising junior, it’s a pleasure for me to spread the art of English to others who have lower education accessibility! As a result, through EngPower, it motivates me as a student to encourage others to keep the passion of learning and exploring new ideas!

My name is Andrea Chiang and I’m a sophomore at Taipei Fuhsing private school and I joined Engpowered because of my passion for volunteering and service. Vice Coordinator
Diego Lin (Dominican International School)
My name is Diego and I joined the club because I want to use the knowledge that I got to help the kids grow. I think all of the kids deserves a chance to learn English, so I would love to improve their English skill. I can provide a good learning environment for them and make the kid willing to attend my class. I think it’s meaningful to give back to the society or the community. While interacting with the kids, I can also motivate myself by seeing their hard work.

Secretary
Jessica Liang (Kang Chiao International School)
Hi everyone! My name is Jessica Liang, and I’m currently a high school student in Taiwan. I joined this organization because it combines one thing I really enjoy—teaching and interacting with kids—with a subject I feel more confident in, English. Through volunteering, I hope to not only share knowledge, but also to connect with students, learn from their perspectives, and support them in reaching their goals and hopefully make learning a little easier and more fun. Super excited to be part of this group and to learn together with everyone along the way!
